Zoltan Dienes passed away peacefully on January 11, 2014 with family and friends beside him, and the sounds of Hungarian folks songs being sung, as well as one written by his mother, Valeria. Dr. Zoltan Dienes, 93, of Wolfville is a celebrated academic in the field of mathematics education. He was honoured recently at Acadia University with an honorary doctorate from the University of Pécs in Hungary.
